A Certified Step Forward:
Golfyr Clubs Receive R&A Approval

2 minute read

We are proud to announce another milestone: all seven clubs in our Golfyr set are now officially certified by The R&A.

This recognition confirms what we’ve pursued from the very beginning – that radical innovation, uncompromising design, and top-tier quality are fully compatible with the official rules of golf. Our clubs, made entirely from carbon, meet all the requirements of international golf – clear proof that less can truly be more.

Approval That Builds Trust

R&A certification is recognized worldwide and is a prerequisite for using clubs in official tournaments. It ensures that characteristics such as loft, length, material, and energy transfer comply with the official rules. The fact that our complete #sevenclubgame meets these standards shows that efficiency can meet innovation – without breaking the rules. However, this external recognition is just the tip of the iceberg.

Technology with Substance

What truly sets our #sevenclubgame apart lies even deeper. Behind each individual club is a concept that has never before been realized in golf: Golfyr is the first manufacturer in the world to successfully create golf clubs made entirely of carbon – the first real technological breakthrough since the titanium era of the early 1990s, which itself marked a major milestone. This material advantage delivers a tangible difference – and represents the next step in the evolution of golf club design.

More Than That: Multiple Registered Process and Product Patents Protect Our Innovation Expertise. They highlight the technological edge we consistently pursue – from the hollow-body structure and intelligent weight distribution to the ergonomically optimized shape, every detail is designed to make your game simpler, clearer, and more direct.

Rethinking Golf – Without Breaking the Rules

The fact that our set is now validated both by The R&A and protected by patents shows: it’s possible to break new ground without straying from the values of the sport. On the contrary. Reduction brings focus, lightness creates flow, and innovation doesn’t mean breaking the rules – it means progress.

Ready for Your Game. Ready for Progress

This is how technology becomes an experience – from the first tee shot to the final putt. Whether you’re starting with the Opener off the tee or finishing with the Maker, every club is now not only ready for your game but also officially approved. And it comes with a standard you can be proud of.

Welcome to the new standard. Welcome to Golfyr.

A moment to remember:
Sergio Garcia joins our journey

2 minute read

Some moments mean more than just a signature, a partnership, or a product launch. For us at Golfyr, this is one of those moments.
What began as a bold idea with a clear vision and a deep belief in carbon as the material of the future, is now reaching an entirely new level: Sergio Garcia is joining our journey.

Yes, that Sergio Garcia. Ryder Cup icon. Major champion. One of the most influential golfers of his generation. And now: co-developer of the next installation of our Maker the “Tour”–edition.

From test swings to true conviction

Even last year, we could hardly believe our eyes when Sergio took our Maker out onto the course at several LIV Tour events. No fanfare, no marketing stunt – he played it because he believed in it. Because he felt what we felt: that the Maker is different and that it’s capable of something special.

Now, he’s taking the next step with us. Not just as a face of the brand, but as an active part of our development team. The new Maker, our “Tour”–edition, isn’t being built in a lab. It’s being shaped by experience. By performance. By his high standards and our shared obsession with the perfect stroke.

Carbon meets a champion’s mindset

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved on the tech side: our full carbon set, Carbonics Technology, the Sweet Zone, our unique design language, and optimized weight distribution. But what excites us even more is when someone like Sergio feels it too. This is a man who has seen it all. Played everything. And still, he said this about the Maker: “From my very first swings, I could feel the potential.” That gives us goosebumps and drives us to go even further.

A milestone for us. A promise to you.

We know just how rare this partnership is – especially for a young Swiss startup, driven by a vision, not a legacy. To now reimagine the putter together with one of the greats of the game isn’t just a milestone. It’s an honor and it’s a powerful confirmation of what we believe in.

But it’s also a promise – to Sergio, to ourselves, and to you: that we’ll give everything to make the Maker not just good – but truly exceptional. Stay tuned. There’s more to come.

Seven clubs, one experience: the first #sevenclubgame in Bad Ragaz

2 minute read

On May 9, 2025, the moment we had been working towards for years finally arrived. After months of vision, development and anticipation, we officially presented the #sevenclubgame set for the very first time and brought it onto the course together with our pre-order customers and closest companions. The setting: the iconic Golf Club Bad Ragaz. The moment: a milestone in Golfyr’s journey. The twist: just seven carbon clubs – radically rethought for flow, precision and a whole new playing experience.

Fitting, Fairway and Fine Dining

After a relaxed welcome drink and a short introduction to the #sevenclubgame, we headed straight to the practice area. Driving range, putting green and bunker became the testing grounds for our redefined way of playing. In the following 2-player scramble across nine holes, our guests had the chance to experience the full set in action – with pure joy, competitive spirit and plenty of eye-opening moments.

The verdict was clear: less is more. The seven clubs stood out with their lightness, clarity and performance. Unmistakably different from conventional sets, and noticeably so from the very first shot.

Conversation, insights and a round of applause

As the evening set in, the atmosphere shifted from play to connection. Over drinks and dinner, everyone came together to reconnect and exchange impressions. In his speech, CEO Marcel Lendenmann shared the story behind the set and expressed heartfelt thanks for the honest, valuable feedback – straight from the course and real-life play.

A new era begins

This first round in Bad Ragaz was more than just a successful debut. It marked the beginning of a new way to think about and play golf. The #sevenclubgame showed what becomes possible when we leave old assumptions behind: more clarity, more ease, more directness. With everything we learned from this first event, we’re now ready to take it further. We’ll continue refining the experience and sharing it with more players who are ready to see the game in a new light.

Seven clubs. One feeling. Welcome to the #sevenclubgame – test now.

Golf with 7 clubs?

How 7>14 is changing the game

3 minute read

Golf is a sport rooted in tradition. But sometimes, bold innovation is needed to push the game forward. That’s exactly what we’re aiming for with our 7>14 approach: instead of carrying 14 clubs, we focus on a carefully curated set of seven specially designed clubs. But 7>14 is more than just a reduction in numbers – it’s a new way to play golf: more efficient, more intuitive, and ultimately, more enjoyable.

7>14 explained: Streamlined golf – maximum performance

Through extensive data analysis and detailed course studies, we discovered that seven clubs are enough to handle all essential game scenarios. This simplified setup not only makes the game more straightforward but also reduces decision fatigue – a benefit that can directly enhance performance on the course.

Thanks to our innovative Carbonics Technology, the 7>14 concept became a reality. By using carbon as the core material, we unlocked new possibilities in club design: optimal weight distribution, maximum stability, and enhanced forgiveness. The result? This creates a set that offers impressive versatility with fewer clubs.

Less is more: The philosophy behind our concept

Golf is not just a technical game – it’s a mental challenge. 7>14 means focusing on what truly matters. With fewer clubs, players experience greater mental clarity, smoother game flow, and a stronger connection to their playing style.

Rather than getting lost in endless choices, players are encouraged to trust their instincts and embrace their creativity on the course. 7>14 isn’t a restriction – it’s a conscious decision to focus on what brings more enjoyment and flow to the game.

A new golf experience for everyone

At the heart of 7>14 is a player-first philosophy. It’s not about how many clubs you carry, but how they enhance your overall experience and enjoyment of the game. By simplifying the setup, we offer a golf experience that feels more intuitive, focused, and consistent – allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the game.

Maker amazes on the professional golf circuit

5 min read

Earlier this year, our Swiss start-up entered the annals of golfing history when the Spanish pro player Sergio García created a sensation by putting his way onto the podium of the LIV Golf tournament in Mayakoba with our innovative carbon putter. The Maker is now officially “Tour approved”.

Golf club design done differently

Our 1of7 is a genuine innovation in the world of golf, with its hollow mallet head made from 100% carbon. This robust material has huge advantages over traditional materials such as stainless steel and titanium. Its low weight allows us to produce a putter with optimal weight distribution and a larger head, which reduces the impact of mistakes and helps you achieve a smooth pendulum swing for every putt. Sergio García used the Maker in various pro tournaments, including his impressive performance at LIV Golf Mayakoba, where he secured a second-place finish.

Sergio García masters the greens with the Maker

When García drew our carbon putter from his bag on the LIV Tour, both fans and experts were astonished. As for us, it was a really special moment, when the performance and potential of our revolutionary design were proven for all to see. The online buzz was huge and various golf magazines rhapsodized over García’s choice of club.

Our mission: Rethink Golf

At Golfyr, we’re all about making the game easier and better for all golfers, including amateurs. Our clubs are true precision tools that have been specially developed to forgive mistakes and maximize enjoyment of the game. With the Maker and our upcoming series of carbon clubs, we are rethinking and revolutionizing golf, making it even simpler and more accessible for all players.

The future is bright

Our SWISS-MADE carbon putter is just the beginning: in summer 2025, as part of our #sevenclubgame, we’re launching a set of seven clubs that will transform the way people think about golf. Every club is made in Switzerland with the same passion and precision that characterize the magnificent Maker.

Super-Mountain-Putting in St. Moritz

2 min read

A putting experience in a supermarket? We made it happen in St. Moritz. From July 27 to September 9, 2024, we stopped by the concept store “Super Mountain Market” in St. Moritz to present our innovative 1of7, the Maker.

Art, Coffee, and Consistent Two-Putts

On a black putting green, guests, art connoisseurs, and two-putt enthusiasts could test our carbon putter between creative concepts and coffee breaks, well into the evening hours. The outdoor kitchen experts from “OFYR” provided a special atmosphere and culinary delights during our stay, preparing fresh BBQ on a large outdoor fire bowl in the warm evening temperatures. The “Super Mountain Market” concept is unique in Switzerland and has already entered its eighth year.

“For us, it’s important to present our putter in unique locations – especially outside official putting greens. This concept is in Golfyr’s DNA and always makes the experience with our 1of7 something special.”

– Marcel Lendenmann, CEO Golfyr

A Concept for Connoisseurs

The idea of the founders of the concept store in the picturesque Engadin: to create a vibrant platform for friends to present inspiring products, objects, and art. Among the participants were “Art Noble Gallery,” “Arcade,” and “Angelo De Luca.” A memorable gathering full of inspiring encounters.

Innovation meets vision

4 min read

Roger Stadler, the visionary founder of Golfyr, is redefining the game of golf with his groundbreaking concept, “7>14.” By challenging the traditional 14-club system, he offers a revolutionary solution: a simplified, seven-club approach built on cutting-edge technology and innovative materials. But this is more than just a new system—it’s about making golf more accessible, fostering a deeper connection to the sport, and bringing the joy of play back into focus.

Redefining golf

Golfyr’s story began in 2011 when Roger Stadler laid the foundation for his revolutionary concept. His vision was clear: to create a golf club tailored specifically to the needs of amateur players—one that combines maximum forgiveness, precision, and comfort. Achieving this ambitious goal required close collaboration with top-tier partners and industry experts. Together, they developed a groundbreaking concept that used carbon as the primary material for the clubs.

Known for its lightweight and durable properties, carbon was the perfect choice to bring Stadler’s ideas to life. The innovative hollow-body design of the clubs allows for precise weight distribution, stabilizing the swing and ensuring optimal energy transfer. This technological leap was the result of years of research and collaboration, culminating in a product that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in golf.

A new approach: #sevenclubgame

Through extensive research, testing, and analysis of countless playing scenarios, the Golfyr team identified seven essential shot types that form the foundation of the game. These insights became the basis for the #sevenclubgame. Using proprietary Carbonics Technology, Golfyr developed a club set tailored to meet these specific demands. Each club is meticulously engineered to excel at its individual role, while also working seamlessly with the others in the set.

The result: a fully optimized, intuitive system that simplifies decision-making, builds confidence, and delivers a harmonious playing experience. This isn’t just a redesign of golf equipment—it’s a reimagining of how the game is played.

“Golf has turned into a gadget show – we want to break with the status quo and radically rethink the sport of golf.”

– Roger Stadler

After more than a decade of development, Golfyr now presents a market-ready product that not only delivers technical excellence but also offers a fresh perspective on golf. With a dynamic startup spirit and a new home base in California, Roger Stadler is driving Golfyr’s vision to transform the sport on a global scale with Swiss precision and sustainability at its core.

With the slogan “Rethink Golf,” Golfyr is set to revolutionize the game in 2025. By simplifying the play and minimizing the equipment, the focus shifts back to the players and the sense of community. Roger Stadler and his team are committed to innovation, passion, and a clear mission: bringing the true spirit of golf back to life.

Public putting at the

2023 Ryder Cup

3 min read

The Ryder Cup is one of the world’s hottest golf tournaments – Europe versus the US – and in 2023 it was held in historic Rome. Reason enough for us to use this legendary event to present the Golfyr brand and our 1of7 the Maker live to the public and the press for the first time. And we did it with a passion for the game: In an exclusive location in Zurich, we served golf fans the finest pizza, brilliant pro tips and precise putting during a public viewing at an exclusive location.

Precise putting on the “blue”

For four days, the doors of the Golfyr clubhouse at Färberstrasse 3 were open to golf enthusiasts. It was a special premiere for us: it was the first time our carbon putter was available to the public and available to be tested throughout the event. A large blue putting green provided visitors with a special area where they could test our 1of7 the Maker in short and long putts and experience the innovative revolution of golf in person. We also offered an extensive program of accompanying events: In addition to daily putting challenges with exclusive prizes, visitors could also attend exciting live presentations by the Golfyr Minds, in which all the important characteristics of our clubs were explained up close and in detail.

Public viewing and putting

In addition to the public putting, the focus of our event was, of course, the live broadcast of the Ryder Cup. The renowned golf tournament was broadcast continuously on a large screen. In keeping with the venue in Rome, Italy, the finest pizza and fresh penne from a local catering company were served. For all visitors, it was an eventful, exciting and unique experience with Golfyr and the Maker in a friendly atmosphere – and we look forward to welcoming all golf lovers, Ryder Cup aficionados and Maker fans to our next event. Stay tuned.
